With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Anthony Rueter of Rockaway, New Jersey, born in Dover, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 24, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Robert Rueter. He is survived by: his mother Jean Rueter; his sons, Robert Rueter (Melanie) and James Rueter (Samantha); his grandsons, Bennett, Nathan and Mason Rueter; and his siblings, Timothy Rueter, Cynthia Rueter and Robert J. Rueter.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in John's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org).
