He is survived by: his wife Terri; his children, Ashok Gregory Rao (Keelie), Sheila Rao (Thomas McArdle, Jr.), Chandani Rao (Todd Slaughter) and Anand Rao (Hema); his grandchildren, Avani Christine, Anika Anne, Sameena Elizabeth Rao, Maya, Naina, Deven Slaughter and Kalan Rao; his brother Vasudev Rao (Sujala); and his nephew Vaibhav. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
