He was predeceased by: his father George W. Scripture Senior; and his close friend Ann Marie DeSombre. He is survived by: his mother Mary of Morris Plains; his sister Major Heidi S. Scripture (Lynn Berezny); his son George W. Scripture V; his daughter-in-law Ashley; and his grandson George W. Scripture VI.
