It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alyce Lorraine Polyak (Rockaway, New Jersey), who passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband George Polyak II; her children, George Polyak III and Dawn Koroly; and her brother Frank Thompson. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Borny (Robert) and Frank Polyak (Debbie); her sister Barbara Sweedy (Lenny); her sister-in-law Gail Thompson; her grandchildren, Michael, Christopher Koroly, Jennifer Borny, Rob Borny (Lauren), Nichole Howard (Joe), Frank Polyak (Lauryn) and George Polyak IV; and her great grandchildren, Kayla, Kristen Koroly, Jackson, Noah Borny, Aiden, Sawyer Howard, Luca Ilijic, George Polyak V and Blake Polyak.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Peter & Paul Orthodox Church (66 Beach St, Rockaway, NJ 07886). A burial will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at the Ss Peter & Paul Cemetery (18 Quaker Ave, Randolph, NJ 07869).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to St. Peter & Paul Orthodox Church.
