He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Joan Ranne, Giulio and Julia Sammarone. He is survived by: his wife Ma Julia "Dina" Arenas; his son Paul Brandon; his parents, Charles M. Ranne and Louann Ranne; his siblings, Jeffrey Ranne (Heather) and Jessica Ranne-Cardona (Luis); and his nephew Ian. He is also survived by his extended family and his dear friends.

“My daughter Season went to school with Jason so I met him on several occasions. I remember him being a friendly, outgoing and charming guy. I remember his Elvis impersonation and playing his guitar. He sang me an impromptu "thank you Mrs. Schaefer" for hosting a party at our house for the college students. A fun guy I know will be forever missed by many. Love back to you Jason.”
