Mike published a number of my articles in Karate International Magazine. I was a teacher at the MAU in the 1990s, in Virginia. R.I.P. My Brother!”

“Michael was a great martial artist and as a person there was no one better. I had the pleasure of meeting him and spending time with him at a martial arts event a number of years ago. He treated me like a friend even though he barely knew me at the time. A wonderful man and a true pioneer in jiu jitsu. The world is a much better place because of him.
