He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ramsay and Helen Rowan Ramsay; his daughter Maureen Simes (Irwin); and his siblings, Kathryn Badecker, Robert Ramsay and William Ramsay.
He is survived by: his stepson Karolis Laugalys; his daughters, Kathryn Occhipinti (John), Christine Ramsay, Judith Helmke (Walter Hedding) and Jacqueline Johnson (Daniel); his brother Richard Ramsay; and his sister-in-law Linda Ramsay of Port Jervis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
