He is survived by: his spouses, Greta Lauer and Lan; his children, Jennifer Thompson (Kevin) and William; his grandchildren, Rebecca Thompson, David Thompson and Abigail Thompson; and his brother Jac. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
