In the sacred silence of farewell, Leonard is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Leonard's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his mother Brooklyn; and his brother Joseph (Ann). He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Damian Albergo (Jennifer) and Cameron Albergo (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Nicolette, Damian, Jr., Alexis and Ella. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Volk Leber Funeral Home (268 Kinderkamack Rd, Oradell, NJ 07649). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter the Apostle RC Church (445 Fifth Avenue, River Edge, NJ 07661).
