He was predeceased by : his siblings, Bishop John Burke and Margaret M. Burke. He is survived by : his siblings, Joseph M. Burke (Virginia) and Michele Burke Cherbonneau. He is also survived by one niece, 3 nephews, and one great niece and three great nephews.
