He was predeceased by: his sisters, Isabel and Rebecca. He is survived by: his wife Judith Shaw; his children, Purnell J. Shaw Jr., Dawn Bucher (Adam), Melodie Sippel (Tom), Lindora Grant, Jason Shaw and Eric Shaw; his stepchildren, Raymond Szwak, Jr. (Anke) and Terri Hamby (Doug); and his sister Pearl. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
