He was predeceased by: his father James P. Haggerty; and his brother Stephen Haggerty. He is survived by: his mother Carol A. Haggerty; his children, Abigail E. Haggerty, Trista H. Haggerty, Karlee A Haggerty, Jason S. Haggerty and Douglass A. Haggerty Jr.; his grandchildren, Skylar, Jaheim, Remy and Aniyah; and his brothers, John, James and Scott.

The family would prefer donations be made to the Evoy Funeral Home to help defray expenses.
