He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Higgins and Gertrude Cowan Higgins; and his siblings, Gertrude (Joseph) and Hugh "Scott" Higgins. He is survived by: his wife Rosalind Sicina Higgins; his children, William Higgins Jr. (Denise), Michael Higgins (Tiffani) and Elizabeth Husk (Christopher); his grandchildren, Austen, Tyler, Michael, Shane, William III and Graham; his brother Andrew Higgins (Ruthann); and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Higgins, Jean Sicina Brac (Charles) and Robert Sicina (Collette). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
