He was predeceased by: his wife Linda. He is survived by: his children, Jason (Mercedes DeGroat) and Kelly DeGroat; his siblings, Christopher, Butch, Avery, Leon DeGroat, Carol Nelson, Janice Debose, Silvia VanDunk and Rose VanDunk; his grandchildren, Justin, Janelle DeGroat, Devin (Alexa DeGroat) and Deion Milligan; and his great grandchildren, Aribella, Davian DeGroat and Kollin Milligan.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Richards Funeral Home - West Milford (1440 Union Valley Rd, West Milford, NJ 07480). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
