He was predeceased by: his father Robert K. Gerne; and his brother Robert Gerne II. He is survived by: his mother Claire M. Gerne (Riley); his siblings, Claire M. Valente (James) of Middletown, RI, Anne M. Wodenshek (late Christopher), Katharine Gerne of Cambridge, MA and Christopher R Gerne (Alexandra) of Westfield, NJ; his foster brother Sean Dynes (Terry); his nieces and nephews, Andrew Valente, Kaitlyn Hughes (Steve), Kevin Valente, Mariko Valente, Rosie Valente, Riley Gerne, Morgan Mahoney (Ricky), Michael Gerne, Jack Gerne, Sarah Marqueling (Scott), Haley Wodenshek, Mollie Wodenshek, William Wodenshek, Zachary Wodenshek, Jack Cannon, Luke Gerne, William Gerne and Kieran Gerne; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Logan, Connor Hughes, Samuel and Elijah Sean Marqueling; his sister-in-law Patricia Wodenshek; and his pet Trixie.
All those coming to the visitation are REQUESTED TO WEAR MASKS.
