He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Otto Durheimer and Mary Durheimer; his wife Tessie; his children, Richard Durheimer, Donald Durheimer (Susan), Barbara Congleton, Dorothy Alia (Anthony) and Deborah Townend (James); his grandchildren, Matthew Durheimer, Heather Sculthorpe Zynczenko (Michael, Meredith Checkwood), Gwen Sculthorpe, Curtis Alia, Nikola Ross (Johnathon, Craig, Kira) and Brent Townend; and his great grandchildren, Julia, Natalie, Alex Zynczenko, Elle, Derek Checkwood, Tyler Wagner and Liam Ross. He was also cherished by five children, 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
