She is survived by: her daughters, Laura Bougas (Charles), Gail Schoch (Philip), Christine Sinkhorn (Steven) and Amy Walsh (Luke); her siblings, Van Penick, Jenny Young, Douglas Penick, Meg Federico and Jane France; her brother-in-law Bill (Tricia); her grandchildren, Christopher (Amy), Alison (Steve), Robert, Corinne, Erin, Tyler, Timothy, William and Ronan; and her great grandchildren, Charlotte and Phoebe.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Mary Alice and Thomas R.S. Burgin fund at Children's Aid and Family Services of NJ which provides aid and guidance to young adults over 18 who have aged out of foster care (http://www.cafsnj.org).
