Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Laurie leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her father David Callahan. She is survived by: her mother Patricia Callahan; her husband John McCormack; her daughters, Meghan and Molly; and her siblings, Cheryl Callahan Gibney, Mike Callahan and Mark Callahan. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Feeney Funeral Home (232 Franklin Ave, Ridgewood, NJ 07450). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church (1 Passaic St, Ridgewood, NJ 07450). A burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at the George Washington Memorial Park (234 Paramus Rd, Paramus, NJ 07652).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Villa Marie Claire Hospice Center (https://www.holyname.org) or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Laurie's memory.
