He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis O'Dea and Mary O'Dea; his grandchildren, Doug Jr., Olivia O'Dea, Mackenzie O'Dea and Oliver McPhillips; and his brothers, Timothy and Daniel.
He is survived by: his wife Ine; his children, Kevin (Krista), Doug (Racheal), Kerry (Greg) and Kim (Travis); and his brother Frank O'Dea Jr. Eileen (Kathy).
Visitation was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM and at 9:30 AM at the Calhoun Mania Funeral Home (19 Lincoln Ave, Rutherford, NJ 07070). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Saint Mary (91 Home Ave, Rutherford, NJ 07070). A burial was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at the George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery (234 Paramus Rd, Paramus, NJ 07652).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jim's memory to Feeding America or to Valley Hospital in Ridgewood.
