It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ester Hanson of Ridgewood, New Jersey, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on December 26, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Aniello DiSpigno and Frances DiSpigno; her son William Jr.; her family Forever; her husband William B. Hanson Sr.; her son-in-law Neil Ekblom Sr.; her brother Daniel DiSpigno; her sister-in-law Sara; her daughter Joanne Hanson Karoutsos; her son-in-law Apostolos; her daughter Frances Hanson Ekblom; her grandson-in-law William B. Hanson Jr.; her daughter-in-law Lisa; and her great grandchildren, Sofia, Christos Jr., Eleftheria and Stella Ann. She was also cherished by her seven grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
