Elaine Arnone Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Arnone of Ridgewood, New Jersey, born in Garfield, New Jersey, who passed away on June 12, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Michael; and her sons, Bruce Arnone and Michael Arnone. She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Karen Arnone of Franklin Lakes, NJ; her granddaughters, Lindsay Arnone of Philadelphia, PA and Megan Arnone of Franklin Lakes, NJ; her sister Theresa Borsh-Haker of Hartly, DE; and her cousin Stephanie Marin.

The family's wish is to hold a Celebration of Life service at a later date, once more restrictions are lifted due to Covid 19.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Elaine's memory may be made to the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, 2 Shelter Lane, Oakland, NJ 07436.

“Dear karen, lindsay and megan, i am sorry for you loss. Elaine was always so proud of her granddaughters and loved them beyond words. That gave her the will to live longer than expected. Thank you for taking such good care of her. She spoke of you often and was happy that you were always there for her. She was one strong independent woman who had to go through many hardships, but still had her dignity and pride. I am sure she will be with you all in spirit at lindsay’s wedding along with m 🌹”
