Though Arthur may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur Jr. Carpenter and Amy Stewart Carpenter; and his brother Alan Stewart Carpenter. He is survived by : his wife Dolores Kennelly Carpenter; his children, Jennifer Carpenter (Marc) of Hawthorne, Suzanne Carpenter (Peter) of Ridgewood, Arthur Carpenter IV (Stephanie) of Pompton Plains and Ward Carpenter MD (Russell) of New York City; and his grandchildren, Erica Lehman, Emeril Lehman and Benjamin Carpenter.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Feeney Funeral Home (232 Franklin Ave, Ridgewood, NJ 07450). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church (1 Passaic St, Ridgewood, NJ 07450).
