He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter and Florence Rottler. He is survived by: his wife Leila "Lee"; his children, Brett Rottler and Kara Slover (Wade); his brother Donald Rottler (Ada); and his pet Chester.

In lieu of flowers memorials in his memory may be made to Bergen County Animal Shelter, 100 United Lane, Teterboro, NJ.
