Dave Songer wrote a sympathy message

“I grew up in Ridgefield (NJ) in the 60s & 70s, and going to "Castro's" on Bergen Blvd was an everyday occurrence. Mrs. Castro, and her husband, Ralph, knew me well. Mrs. Castro would wait on us, while her husband, Ralph, would stand on the steps to the shop, listening to the New York Yankee games on the radio. I moved away from Ridgefield in 1982, but ran into Mr. Castro a few years later, and got all caught up. I'm so sorry to hear of Dorothy's passing. She was a special lady. Dave Songer”
