We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2021 we had to say goodbye to John Martin Avery (Ridgefield Park, New Jersey). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Pat, Walter, Jr. and Peter; and his nephews, Richard Strasser III, Paul Avery and Patrick Avery. He is also survived by his brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
John's last two years of life were troubled by failing health and, due to the restrictions of the pandemic, limited visitation by his family.
In lieu of flowers, the Avery Family suggests a gift donation to Christ In The Desert Monastery, a cherished, spiritual community in the hills of New Mexico where John's brother, Peter, was laid to rest in 1976.
