He was predeceased by: his parents, Tomas Ruano and Clara Ruano (Baqueiro). He is survived by: his wife Carmela; his sons, Carlos and Eric; his stepchildren, Joseph and Danielle; his brother Tomas; his nephews, Marcela, Gerardo and Romina; and his grandchildren, Janice, Angelo, Jaelyn, Owen and Thomas. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
