She was predeceased by: her mother Katherine Johnson; her brother Marcus; and her son Warren T. Johnson. She is survived by: her brother Richard; her children, Leonard A. Johnson, Debra L Stewart and Patience R. Bowens; her husband James W. Bowens; her nieces, Candy, Cathy and Kim; and her grandsons, Leonard A. Johnson III (Pookie), Kevin C. Murphy and Warren M. Murphy.
