It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Toomey (Red Bank, New Jersey), born in Ness City, Kansas, who passed away on October 25, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Vogel and Katherine Vogel (Leikam); and her husband Gerald. She is survived by: her children, Michael S. Toomey (Eileen R.), Donna M. Toomey (Michael), Laura J. Hennessey (James) and Nancy E. Toomey; her sister Verna Cummings; her great grandchildren, Lilliana, Seraphina, Max and Elowen; and also, Daniel Paden (Stephanie), Colleen Toomey and Claire Toomey.
