He was predeceased by: his parents, Timothy Kirby, Sr. and Margaret Kirby (O'Connor); his son Timothy Kirby, III; and his grandchildren, Ryan Kaiser and Lesley Burke.

He is survived by: his wife Dolores Kirby (Desmond); his children, Diane Burke (John), Greg Kirby (Jose Camacho), John Kirby (Joseph Valmores), Chris Kirby (Pedro Quesada) and Lauren Kaiser (Andrew); his daughter-in-law Louise Cameron Lee; his grandsons, Connor (Laura Burke), Jack (Jamie Kaiser), Logan and Ben (Cameron Kirby); his sister Margaret Kane; and his brother-in-law Thomas Desmond. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent in Timothy's memory to Habitat for Humanity, https://www.habitat.org or to any mental health organizations.
