She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Bonelli and Marie Bonelli (Montano); her son Gerard; her son-in-law Mark; and her brother-in-law Charles.
She is survived by: her husband Dr. Jaime Portela; her children, Marie (Mike), Joseph (Ruth), Anayda "Annie", James (Teresa), Michael (Janet), Julie (Phil) and Claire; and her siblings, Margaret and Francis (Janet).
