She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Johnson and Evelyn Johnson (Hunter); her husband William G. Rusch; her daughter Carolyn Louise Rose; and her brother Robert Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth (Randy Terry), Kathryn (Stephen Rible) and Paul (Carol Rusch); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Smith (Patrick), Daniel Rible, Christina Warner (Andy), Theodore Terry (Vicky), David Hamburg (Kristin) and Christopher Hamburg (Angel); her sister Katharine Kumar; and her siblings-in-law, Jai Kumar (Sabrina) and Raj Kumar (Shelly). She is also survived by her eleven great-grandchildren; and her two great-great grandchildren.
Memorial donations in Ruth's memory can be made to "The William. G. Rusch Scholarship Fund" at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.
