He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Hoffman and N. J. Bobby; his son Robert W. Hoffman; his wife Jane; his children, Catherine Hoffman Francis (Bernard), Michael D. Hoffman (Erica) and Laura Maldonado (Benjamin Jr); his brother Joseph Hoffman (Lynn); his grandchildren, Alyssa, Jessica, Nicholas, Benjamin III, Gillian, Ethan, Ciaran, Michal, Kevin, Makayla, Natalie and Ian; and his great grandchildren, McKenna and Jonathan. He was also cherished by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Disabled American Veterans or Wounded Warrior Project.
