He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramon Algarin Sola and Portalatina Ramos; his wife Modesta Ramos; and his children, Edward Ramos, Milagros Barbosa and Lydia Dominguez.

He is survived by: his children, Michael Ramos, Joseph Ramos, Gloria Ramos Wiggs, Carmen Ostow, Ramona Ramos, Mary Navarrete and Linda Rodriguez. He is also survived by numerous loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
