He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Furey and Margaret Furey; and his siblings, Daniel, John, Robert, Austin and Marguerite.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen; his daughters, Tonya Johnson and Shannon Ballone (Joseph); his grandsons, Nicholas, Christopher, Kyle Ballone and Cody Johnson; and his nieces and nephews, Elizabeth, Pricilla, Richard, William, Patrick, Colleen, Sabrina, Robbie, Janet Furey, Daniel and Sharon.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John F. Pfleger Funeral Home (115 Tindall Rd, Middletown Township, NJ 07748). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
