She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Matthew Murphy and Dorothy Gehlhaus Murphy; and her husband Tom. She is survived by: her daughters, Laurie Bready of Texas and Amy Brounley of Pennsylvania; her grandchildren, Sam, Lindsay of Texas and Madison of California; her sister Joan Curtis (Bill Curtis) of Florida; and her nephew Todd Reusille of Arizona.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to local food pantries.
