He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Rafferty and Elizabeth Rafferty; his wife Marilyn Maloney; his sister Arlene; and his brother-in-law Charlie.
He is survived by: his children, Rod (Eileen), Steve (Lisa), Mariclare, Tricia (Peter) and Kate; his grandchildren, Shawn (Hilary), Patrick, Shannon (Ryan), Megan, Molly, Conor, Evan, Brennan and Allison; and his great grandchildren, Dylan and Charlie.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Thompson Memorial (310 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ 07701). A Mass was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the Church of Saint Leo the Great (50 Hurleys Ln, Lincroft, NJ 07738).
In lieu of flowers the family welcomes donations to Meals on Wheels (http://www.mealsonwheelsamerica.org.) a charity supported by both Joe and Marilyn or to a charity important to you.
