We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2021, at the age of 89, Jaime T. Portela of Red Bank, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Portela and Anayda Portela (Bueno); his wife Theresa; his son Gerard; his son-in-law Mark; and his siblings, Juan, Elaina and Margarita.

He is survived by: his children, Marie (Mike), Joseph (Ruth), Anayda, James (Teresa), Michael (Janet), Julie (Phil) and Claire; his sisters, Argentina and Norma; and his brothers-in-law, Manolo and Felipe. He is also survived by his 16 grandchildren.
