He is survived by: his wife Aida Thompson; his son Joshua Gomez; his sister Norma "Norjae" Alston; his nephew Tyree "Jessee" Wynn; his great-niece Zoey El-Dana Wynn; and his grandchildren, Abigail and Micaela Gomez.
