She was predeceased by: her husband Harry Mahler; her sons, Harry and Peter Mahler; her parents, John Koshuta and Elizabeth Koshuta; and her siblings, Irene Thiel, Bette Maypother, Dorothy Kruse and John Koshuta.
She is survived by: her sisters, Martha Petruzzi, Mary Koshuta and Marge Koshuta-Bernstock (Larry Bernstock); her brother-in-law Harold Kruse; her daughters, Linda Mahler (Edward Champlin) and Dawn Stout; her grandchildren, Katie Loughran (Joseph Ujj), Michael Loughran and Sarah Stout; and her great grandchildren, Mimi and Eero Ujj. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
