She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Hughes and Pearl Hughes; her husband James Lee; her son James "Pee Wee" Lee Jr.; and her siblings, Juanita, Jean, Inez, Earl, Wesley, Carroll, Hiawatha and Barry.
She is survived by: her son Mark E. Davis (Nicole); her grandchildren, Iesha (Matt), Shantaree of Anthony, Jamai and Mark; her great grandchildren, Shantrel, Tremel, Sy'Ahir, Sabastian and Naomi; and her niece Delores Hughes Walker. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
