He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marjorie Gifford Grimm and George Grimm, Jr. of Washington; his wife Joan Powell Grimm; his children, Peter Grimm (Amy Grimm) of Red Bank, NJ, Dr. Ian Grimm (Theresa Raphael-Grimm) of Chapel Hill, NC, Dr. Susan Grimm (Rick Alkire) of Wooster, Ohio and Andrew Grimm (Lori Grimm) of Berea, Ohio.; his grandchildren, Jonathan Grimm, Sarah Grimm (Eric Amling), Jarrett Grimm-Vavlitis (Michael Vavlitis), Reed Grimm, Heidi Zacher, Timothy Zacher and Kayleigh Grimm; and his great grandchild Finley Zacher.
