She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harry Bostwick Massey and Mignon Read Massey; her former husband George W. Murphy; her husband Donald W. Stratton; her close friend Magdalene Senise Beetlestone; her friend Maggie; her grandmother Gert; her sons, George, Jr., Read, David, Mark, Seth and Jed Murphy; and her daughters-in-law, Kris, Barbara, Joyce, Sylvie and Laurie. She was also cherished by 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren.
It goes without saying that, as it was for many seniors, the Covid pandemic and ensuing forced isolation was an inflection point in the life of this uniquely social being and precipitated her long and unfortunate decline in health.
