He was predeceased by: his son Jeff Rose; his granddaughter Arlene Aimone Rose; his parents, John Rose and Irene Temple Rose; his son-in-law Ben Merrick; and his siblings, Alan Rose, Virginia Rose Bridges and Betty Jean Rose Morales.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Cook Rose; his daughter Susie Rose Merrick; his daughter-in-law Jeannie Weinberg Rose; his children, JC Sparling, Nancy Rose Pearson (Dave Pearson), Jenny Rose Savino (Steve Savino) and Jill Sparling Roe (Chris Roe); his grandchildren, Katie Merrick, Janie Merrick, Johnny Rose, Emily Rose, Lyla Sparling, Charlie Pearson, Tommy Savino, Christopher Savino, Flynn Roe and Luke Roe; and his siblings, Patti Rose Cregut and John Rose (Lilias). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
