She was predeceased by: her parents, Reginald C. Pye and Florence Walton Pye; her husband Chester Apy of Mozar's Dancing Class; her brother Reginald C Pye, Jr.; and her siblings-in-law, Helen Lee Apy, Arthur G. Apy and Douglas K. Apy.
She is survived by: her mother-in-law Grace Wiseburn Apy; her sons, David C Apy (Patricia McHale Apy), Donald W Apy (Jennifer Don Apy) and Dean W. Apy (Susan Yount Apy); her siblings-in-law, MaryJane Fitzpatrick Pye, Judith G Apy and Edward C Apy (Sharon); her nieces and nephews, Karen L. Apy, Kathleen Pye of Marchi, Victoria Pye, Regina Pye Chandler, John E Pye III, Douglas M. Apy and Ralph R. Johnson; her friends, Dr. Donald Warner and Rosemarie Hertting; and also Edward C Apy Jr.. She is also survived by grandchildren and their partners.
In lieu of flowers, Florence's family respectfully suggests contributions of time or resource be made in her honor to the T. Thomas Fortune Cultural Center, 94 Drs.
