She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert A. Gerhold and Mildred E. Gerhold; her former spouse Thomas Mott; her spouse J. Douglas Alt; her daughter Kimberly E. Mischler (Mott); her son-in-law Brad Mischler; her grandchildren, Brooke and Wade Mischler of Woodbury, MN.; her brother Richard R. Gerhold; her sister-in-law Bette Gerhold; her nephews, Bryan R. Gerhold and Kevin L. Gerhold; her stepdaughter Kristl Stanaland (Alt); her son-in-law David Stanaland; and her stepgranddaughters, Sarah and Leah Stanaland.
Due to the current COVID 19 situation, a private burial ceremony is occurring this week. A public memorial event for Carolyn will be planned for the Spring or early Summer of 2021, assuming the COVID crisis has abated.
