She was predeceased by: her mother Geraldine Stewart; her siblings, Andrew DeMuro and Geri Gallagher; and her son Robert DeMuro. She is survived by: her children, Michael McMahon (Martha), Lisa Schaffer (Michael) of Toms River, Tina Burke of Red Bank, Toni Howe of Red Bank, Catherine Angelos (Kenneth) of Toms River and Elaine Kovacs (Wayne); her sister Lily Lavera (Tony) of Brooklyn, NY; and her daughter-in-law Mary DeMuro of Unich Beach. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations in Carol's memory to Monmouth County SPCA.
