He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan James McLeod Sr. and Catherine McCarthy; his son Daniel McLeod; and his sister Aurlie Burke. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Elizabeth McLeod; his children, Allan James McLeod III (Jennifer), Michael Joseph McLeod (Wendy Ann), Stephen Francis McLeod (Michael Stavola) and Jennifer E. McLeod; and his grandchildren, Casey, Daniel, Michael, Maggie, Matthew, Connor, Joseph, Jesse and Ethan. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
