She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert Gildersleeve; her children, Charles Gildersleeve (Lisa), Doreen DeMarco (Eugene) and James Gildersleeve (Catherine); her daughter-in-law Danna; her son Robert Gildersleeve Jr.; her siblings, Kenneth Bynoe (Rose), Robert Bynoe (Anna), Gail Reda and Gerard Bynoe (Linda); her grandchildren, Charles Jr. (Christine), Danielle, Megan (William), Ryan, Matthew, Nicolette, Marc, Jillian, James and Katelyn; and her great grandchild Chaz.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John E. Day Funeral Home (85 Riverside Ave, Red Bank, NJ 07701). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the Church of St. Catharine (108 Middletown Rd, Holmdel, NJ 07733).
