He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Marshall and Elsie Marshall; and his sister Marion Wiegand. He is survived by: his wife Ann Marshall; his daughter Wendy Birkner (Scott); his granddaughters, Caitlyn and Leah Birkner; and his siblings, Eileen Vallaincourt, Barbara VanHorn, Geraldine Marshall, Janet Matthews, Kathy LaStella and Wayne Marshall.

Visitation was held on Monday, October 7th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Bridgewater Funeral Home (707 E Main St, Bridgewater, NJ 08807). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
