He was predeceased by: his parents, Sophia (Baldassare Viola) and NJ; his grandson Joseph Calabrese; and his siblings, Frank Viola, Mary Viola, Jean Viola, Lena Viola and Mae Commandini.
He is survived by: his wife Angelina Elmo; his children, Robert (Alana Lessard) and Denise; his son-in-law Bart Calabrese; his grandson Daniel (Samantha Calabrese); and his sister Katherine Daidone.
